A Voyage Through Science: Past, Present, and Future

The innovative geometric design of the new Trento Museum of Sciences (MUSE) is the fruit of avant-garde architect Renzo Piano’s labor. It’s a unique space in which families can explore and create new and interesting formative experiences. Within the 62,000 square foot complex, it’s possible to traverse millenia past up until contemporary times.

Reproductions of dinosaurs placed on large platforms are visible from 360 degrees and will stun every visitor. The “Big Empty” in the central space reflects the biodiversity of the planet, visibly connecting the 5 floors of the museum: from the top, a glacier, to the bottom, where the visitor is greeted by a floating skeleton of a whale. MUSE links the traditional approach of natural history museums with new themes and interactive elements for today’s visitors.
