The MART (Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Trento and Rovereto), with its 4 floors, 40,000 square feet (of which 20,000 is reserved for exhibitions), makes for one of the most interesting museum experiences in Italy.
Nestled between two 18th century buildings and only a stone’s throw away from the historic center, MART has a very rich art collection spanning from Futurism to Pop Art, from Arte Povera to Realism, and including today’s contemporary art visions as well. Installations change every 4 to 5 months, and besides the interesting permanent collection, at MART you’ll discover artists of international caliber.
