The grapevine is an essential element of the Trentino landscape. It covers the entire territory, from the shores of Lake Garda to the terraces of the Val di Cembra. The unique climate and winds throughout the region produce varied grapes and therefore special and exceptional wines. Many have obtained the highly-prized Controlled Designation of Origin label (CDO). The Nosiola and Vino Santo are two such wines fueled by the Garda winds.
The Marzemino wine gets its unique flavor from the volcanic soil where the grapes are grown. The taste of the Teroldego wine is imbued by the volcanic waters of the Piana Rotaliana. The Mueller Thurgau comes to life from the slopes of the Val di Cembra.
